Gregg Stewart, Owner and Water Quality Specialist.

Gregg Stewart founded Puronics Authorized Dealer of Orange County to bring Puronics' NASA-adapted water purification technology to Orange County homes. Every recommendation begins with a free in-home water test at your address. If the test says you do not need a system, we will tell you.

Why the Free Water Test Comes First

The water treatment industry runs on package pricing and calendar-driven sales pitches. We run on a different model: measure the water first, size the system to that reading, then quote the exact model. If the test does not warrant a system, we say so. Roughly one in five free water test visits ends with a recommendation not to purchase anything.

That is the honest reason the test is offered at no cost. We would rather spend an hour at a kitchen table telling a homeowner they do not need a softener than sell a system that does not fit the reading. Word travels in Orange County neighborhoods faster than any ad budget.

The Puronics Choice

Puronics has been building water treatment equipment since 1947 and now serves more than a million residential and commercial customers through 226 dealer locations. The SilverShield HYgene silver-ion technology at the heart of most Puronics systems use silver-ion technology adapted from NASA's Space Shuttle water purification research. That is what allows a Puronics system to run 15 to 20 years in service instead of the 5 to 8 year replacement cycle of most big-box softeners.

Gregg is an authorized Puronics dealer because the equipment holds up in the field and because the certifications (NSF/ANSI 44, NSF/ANSI 42, WQA Gold Seal) are the ones water professionals actually rely on. Every install is done under CA C-55 Contractor License #904801 with plumbing permits pulled per the city jurisdiction. The manufacturer warranty stays intact. Every install includes a two-year follow-up water test to confirm the system is still performing to spec.

Cities We Cover
in Orange County

Wherever you are in the county, the water test is the same and it is still free. Pick your city below and we will tell you what is known about the supply on your street before we ever come out. The office is in Irvine and we cover all 34 cities from it.

Get Your Free
Water Test

We come out, test the water at your kitchen sink, and tell you in plain English what is in it and what it is doing to your house. It takes about thirty minutes. You owe us nothing afterwards, and roughly one visit in five ends with us telling the homeowner they do not need a system at all.

What Happens
When You Call Us

Nobody enjoys booking a home visit from a company that sells something. Here is exactly how ours goes, so there are no surprises.

We test your water, not an average

Hardness, chlorine, dissolved solids, pH, iron. We run it at your sink, because the number on your street is not the number two cities over, and in Irvine alone the published readings run from 6.3 to 16 grains per gallon.

You get the results in plain English

We walk you through what came back and what it is doing to your heater, your fixtures and your skin. About one visit in five ends with us telling the homeowner their water is fine and they do not need us.

If you do need a system, we size it

Then we install it ourselves under our own California C-55 license, pull the permit where the city wants one, and service it afterwards. You are not handed off to a subcontractor you have never met.
