Its main job is scale, and the way it goes about it is worth understanding because it is not what most people picture. The ScaleMax does not pull calcium and magnesium out of your water. It converts them into micro crystals. A dissolved mineral will bond to the inside of a pipe or the element of a water heater. A crystal will not. What Is Inside the Tank
- ScaleMax scale inhibitor. Converts hardness minerals into micro crystals so they stop forming scale, while preserving the calcium and magnesium in your water.
